Biography

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Hainan University, which I joined in November 2024. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, Canada, in June 2024, under the supervision of Professor Qiang Ye.

My research interests lie at the intersection of edge intelligence, deep reinforcement learning, and mobile edge computing, with applications in intelligent healthcare and resource-efficient real-time UAV computing. My work focuses on learning-driven decision-making and distributed intelligence for dynamic and resource-constrained networked systems. Specifically, I investigate real-time task offloading, adaptive and safe reinforcement learning, and multi-agent resource coordination under partial observability and non-stationary environments. My current research further explores communication-efficient federated learning, privacy-preserving wearable IoT, and predictive resource orchestration for UAV-assisted edge systems, with the goal of enabling efficient, reliable, and trustworthy edge intelligence.

My research has been published in leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, as well as in major IEEE conferences such as ICC, GLOBECOM, and VTC. I have also secured research funding from the Hainan Provincial Natural Science Foundation for a project on deep-reinforcement-learning-enabled mobile edge computing for intelligent healthcare.

I actively contribute to the research community through professional service. I have served on the Technical Program Committees of IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM, FCN, and PST, and as a reviewer for several leading IEEE Transactions and other high-quality journals. In 2024, I received Outstanding Reviewer recognition from IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering.
